Patricia Ann Anderson, 48, a former caregiver, died of cancer Saturday at her home in Pacific Grove. Born Nov 17, 1952, in Alameda, she moved to Columbus in 1989 and returned to the Monterey Peninsula in June. Mrs. Anderson attended Pacific Grove elementary schools and graduated from Pacific Grove High School. She was a member of Community Missionary Baptist Church, where she was an usher. She always remembered family and friends on special occasions with cards. She is survived by her husband, John; four sons, Ronnie Scott of Saudi Arabia, Quincy Scott of Great Lakes, Ill., John Anderson Jr. of San Jose and Seth Anderson of Atlanta; her mother, Earnie Murray of Pacific Grove; three sisters, Carolyn Harper and Paula Kirkland, both of Seaside, and Charlene Peffley of Pacific Grove; three brothers, Frederick Murray of Dallas, Forrest Murray Jr. of San Rafael and Kenneth Murray of Seaside; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Paul Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Community Missionary Baptist Church. The family suggests that any memorial contributions be sent to the Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1798, Monterey 93942.
